Transmission Pan Drain Adapter – M10x1.5 (Toyota) For Dipstick Service (TAD010)

FOR DIPSTICK MODE SERVICE:

① Raise the vehicle to access the drain plug on the bottom of the pan.  Use only a full drain port.  Some vehicles have fluid level test plugs.

② Close the ball valve on the adapter.

③ Loosen the drain plug and quickly slide the plug to the side and slide the adapter over the drain plug hole at the same time.  Tightly the adapter snugly to run the service.

④ Insert the 5/16″ tube from the dipstick manifold on the transmission machine into the adapter.  Open the adapter ball valve.  Use magnetic holder to help support the manifold and hoses.

⑤ Lower the vehicle, start the engine and follow the transmission machine service instructions for performing a dipstick mode transmission service.

⑥ When the service is completed, raise the vehicle, close the ball valve, remove the 5/16″ tube from the adapter, then loosen the adapter and quickly slide it over as you move the plug back into the drain hole.  Tighten the drain plug securely per the manufacturer’s procedure.

⑦ Check the transmission fluid level to ensure the correct fluid level after the service.
