The Brake Service Straw is used to evacuate old fluid from a brake fluid reservior with restricted access.  The small diameter straw can be inserted through very small openings to removed old fluid before performing a complete brake fluid exchange.  Insert the 1/4″ OD barrel on the BAS5 into the flexible suction hose of the vacuum device and the straw through the small opening on the reservior.

Brake Suction Straw is used with:

Brake Service Vacuum Tool (BSVT16)
Any vacuum device with a flexible hose that fits 1/4″ OD barrel and is compatible with brake fluid

Service Instructions

FOR BRAKE SERVICE:

â‘  Insert the 1/4″ OD barrel into the suction hose of any vacuum device.

â‘¡ Insert the straw into the brake fluid in the brake fluid reservoir.

③ Activate the suction device and vacuuum out the old brake fluid.  Note that the small straw will take longer that normal to remove the old brake fluid because of the reduced cross sectional area of the small straw.
